✨ The legal bit

Privacy policy: what happens to your details here.

This privacy policy covers freshbananas.co.uk in plain English. The short version: I collect the minimum needed to reply to you and run the site, I never sell or rent your details, and you can ask what I hold about you at any time.

What is collected and why

When you email or call, I keep your name, contact details and the content of our exchange so I can reply and, if we work together, deliver the work. The lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry, then contract once we agree work. Details are kept only as long as needed for those purposes and for legal record keeping.

Analytics and cookies

The site may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate visitor numbers and which pages help people. Where analytics runs, data is collected under Google’s terms and I see only aggregated reports, never your inbox or identity. The SERP preview tool on this site runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing you type to any server.

What is never done

Your details are never sold, rented or swapped. You are never added to a mailing list by emailing me. No enquiry is shared with third parties except where a service provider is essential to reply to you, such as an email host, or where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of what I hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion where no legal duty requires retention. Email info@freshbananas.co.uk and you’ll get a reply from me personally. Complaints can also go to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
